Currant Burgers Recipe - Cooking Index
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Ground turkey |
2/3 cup | 41g / 1.4oz | Currants |
1/2 cup | 73g / 2.6oz | Seasoned bread crumbs - (whole grain) |
1/4 cup | 15g / 0.5oz | Onions - minced |
1/4 cup | 27g / 1oz | Celery - minced |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Walnuts |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Soy sauce |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Vegetable salt |
Pepper to taste | ||
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Butter |
Combine turkey and currants. Add next 7 ingredients and mix until well-blended. Melt butter in a large frying pan. Make 3-inch patties and fry over medium heat. Turn once, when browned, then serve.
