Cranberry Chicken - 2

Recipe Ingredients

1   Broiler chicken
3/4 cup 46g / 1.6ozOnions - chopped
1 cup 93g / 3.3ozCranberries - fresh
1 teaspoon 5mlSalt
1/4 teaspoon 1.3mlCinnamon
1/4 teaspoon 1.3mlGinger
1 teaspoon 5mlGrated orange rind
1 cup 237mlOrange juice
3 tablespoons 45mlMelted butter
3 tablespoons 45mlFlour
3 tablespoons 45mlBrown sugar - optional

Recipe Instructions

Cut chicken into quarters and remove skin. Place in the slow cooker with onion, cranberries, salt, cinnamon, ginger, orange rind and orange juice. Cover and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours. Remove chicken from pot and serrate meat from bone; set aside.
