Cranberry Chicken - 2 Recipe - Cooking Index

3/4 cup | 46g / 1.6oz | Onions - chopped |
1 cup | 93g / 3.3oz | Cranberries - fresh |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Cinnamon |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Ginger |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Grated orange rind |
1 cup | 237ml | Orange juice |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Melted butter |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Flour |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Brown sugar - optional |
Cut chicken into quarters and remove skin. Place in the slow cooker with onion, cranberries, salt, cinnamon, ginger, orange rind and orange juice. Cover and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours. Remove chicken from pot and serrate meat from bone; set aside.
