Gorgonzola-Chicken Pizza

Recipe Ingredients

2 tablespoons 30mlOlive oil
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlPepper - freshly ground
2 teaspoons 10mlOlive oil
2   Garlic - sliced
2 tablespoons 30mlButter or margarine
1 lb 454g / 16ozFrozen bread dough - thawed
3/4 lb 340g / 11ozChicken breast - cut into strips
1/4 lb 113g / 4ozGorgonzola cheese - crumbled
2 tablespoons 30mlParmesan cheese - grated
1 tablespoon 15mlFresh sage leaves

Recipe Instructions

With 2 tsp oil, grease 14-inch pizza pan; sprinkle with cornmeal. In skillet, over medium heat, melt butter in remaining oil; saute chicken, sage, pepper and salt 3 minutes. Remove.

In drippings, saute onions and garlic 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 450F.

Pat dough into pizza pan; fold edges under 1/4 inch. Bake 5 minutes. Sprinkle with onions, then chicken and cheeses; bake 10 minutes, until golden.
