Burger King Whopper Recipe - Cooking Index
1 | Sesame-seed hamburger bun | |
1/4 lb | 113g / 4oz | Ground beef |
1 | Salt | |
3 | Dill pickle slices | |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Catsup |
3 | Onion rings | |
2 | Tomato slices | |
1/4 cup | 36g / 1.3oz | Lettuce - chopped |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Mayonnaise |
1. Preheat a barbecue grill on high.
2. Toast both halves of the bun, face down, in a hot skillet. Set aside.
3. Form the beef into a thin patty slightly larger than the bun.
4. Lightly salt the hamburger patty and cook on the barbecue grill for 2 to 3 minutes per side.
5. Build the burger in the following stacking order from the bottom up: bottom bun hamburger patty pickles catsup onion rings tomatoes lettuce mayonnaise top bun Makes 1 hamburger.
