10 | Chicken thighs | |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Light soy sauce |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Dry sherry |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Grated fresh ginger |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Cornstarch |
4 tablespoons | 60ml | Raw sesame seeds |
Peanut oil for deep frying |
Cut the chicken thighs in half across the bone.
Marinate them in the soy sauce, sherry, ginger & enough cornstarch to make a thick sauce for 1 hour.
Add the sesame seeds.
Deep fry pieces in peanut oil at 375 until lightly browned.
You can try substituting beef for the chicken.
