Chinese Pork Roast

Recipe Ingredients

4 lbs 1816g / 64ozBoneless pork roast
4 teaspoons 20mlSugar
1 teaspoon 5mlSalt
1 tablespoon 15mlSoy sauce
1 1/2 tablespoons 22mlHoney
1 cup 237mlChicken broth
3 tablespoons 45mlVinegar
1/4 cup 59mlWater

Recipe Instructions

Combine sugar, salt, honey, soy sauce and broth, pour over roast and let marinate for at least one hour, turning occasionally.

Place roast in shallow pan, pour sauce over and bake at 350F for 2 1/2 to 3 hours (170F on meat thermometer).

Baste as often as you can with a mixture of the vinegar and water to prevent sugar from scorching, and to add a slight sweet-sour flavor.
