Mom's Spanish Rice Recipe - Cooking Index
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Salad oil |
1 1/3 cups | 213g / 7.5oz | Rice |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Minced onion |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Ground beef/chuck/hamburger |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
2 | Tomato sauce | |
1 | Beef bouillon cube | |
1 cup | 237ml | Hot water |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Soy sauce |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
In hot fat in skillet, cook rice with onion and beef until golden brown. Add salt and rest of ingredients, simmer, covered until rice is tender.
