Cajun-Styled Baked Fish Recipe - Cooking Index
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Crushed thyme |
4 teaspoons | 20ml | Vegetable oil |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Paprika |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Onion powder |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Garlic powder |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Salt |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Ground red pepper - up to 1/4 |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Fish fillet - (sole, flounder) |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Green pepper cut in match sticks |
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a small bowl combine oil, paprika, thyme, onion and garlic powders, salt and red pepper. Spread mixture evenly on one side of each fish fillet.
Place fillets on a lightly oiled baking pan seasoning side up. Bake until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork, 8-10 minutes. Garnish with green pepper strips.
