Thai Beef With Noodles

Recipe Ingredients

1 lb 454g / 16ozBoneless beef top sirloin
1 1/2 tablespoons 22mlReduced sodium soy sauce
1/4 cup 59mlDry sherry
1 teaspoon 5mlGrated fresh ginger - minced garlic and
  Dark roasted - sesame oil
1/4 teaspoon 1.3mlTo 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper - pods
2 cups 474mlCooked ramen noodles or - linguine
1/4 cup 4g / 0.1ozChopped green onion tops or - fresh cilantro

Recipe Instructions

Combine sherry, soy sauce, ginger, garlic, sesame oil and pepper pods. Place beef steak in plastic bag; add marinade. Close bag securely and marinate 15 minutes. Pour off marinade; reserve.

Heat non stick skillet over medium heat 5 minutes. Add steak and cook 12 to 15 minutes for rare (140 F) to medium (160), tuning once. Remove steak; keep warm.

Dissolve 2 tsp cornstarch in reserved marinade and 1/4 cup water; add to skillet. Bring to boil, stirring constantly. Stir in noodles. Carve steak into thin slices and serve over noodles. Sprinkle with green onion.
