Teriyaki Steak - 1 Recipe - Cooking Index
2 | T-bone steak | |
Marinade | ||
1/2 cup | 118ml | Olive oil |
2/3 cup | 157ml | Soy sauce - low sodium |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Fresh ginger root - grated |
2 | Garlic clove - sliced | |
3 teaspoons | 15ml | Orange peel - grated |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Burgundy |
Mix all marinade ingredients in a gallon size zipper bag. DO NOT use regular soy sauce or the marinade will be too salty.
Add steaks to bag and seal. Refrigerate for 24 hours, turning occasionally.
Grill or broil to desired degree of doneness.
Serve with remaining burgundy.
NOTES : My college buddy's mother got this from a neighbor while stationed in Japan.
