Sweet And Sour Meat Loaf - 2 Recipe - Cooking Index
1 | Tomato sauce | |
2 lbs | 908g / 32oz | Ground lean beef |
1/2 cup | 80g / 2.8oz | Light brown sugar |
1/2 lb | 227g / 8oz | Ground pork |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Vinegar |
2 | Eggs - slightly beaten | |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Prepared mustard |
1/4 cup | 15g / 0.5oz | Minced onions |
1/2 cup | 73g / 2.6oz | Soft bread crumbs |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Salt |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Pepper |
Mix together tomato sauce, sugar, vinegar and mustard.
Mix together remaining ingredients and one cup sauce mixture.
Pack into 1 1/2 casserole. Pour 1/4 cup of sauce over the top. T
he remaining sauce may be heated and used when serving the meat loaf.
Bake at 350F for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
