Stir-Fried Ginger Beef (Nua Pad King) Recipe - Cooking Index

10 oz | 284g | Top sirloin steak - cut into |

1/2 cup | 118ml | Fresh ginger - peeled and thinly |

1 tablespoon | 15ml | Fish sauce - (nam pla) |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Soy sauce |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Oyster sauce |
1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Brown sugar - firmly packed |
1 3/4 cups | 414ml | Green bell pepper - thinly sliced |
1 cup | 62g / 2.2oz | Onion - thinly sliced |
1 1/2 cups | 240g / 8.5oz | Freshly-cooked rice |
Heat oil in wok or large skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic; stir-fry until browned, 20 to 30 seconds.
Add beef and stir-fry until browned. Add ginger, fish sauce, and soy sauce; stir-fry for 1 minute.
Mix in oyster sauce and sugar. Add bell pepper and onion. Cover, remove from heat and let stand for 2 minutes.
Serve hot over freshly-cooked rice.
