Slow Cooker Deviled Beef Recipe - Cooking Index
| 2 lbs | 908g / 32oz | Lean beef - in 1" cubes |
| 1 | Sloppy Joe - seasoning mix | |
| 6 oz | 170g | Tomato paste |
| 1 cup | 110g / 3.9oz | Celery - coarsely sliced |
| 1 | Green pepper - cut in | |
| Squares | ||
| 1/2 cup | 118ml | Water |
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Vinegar |
Place all ingredients in crockpot. Stir to mix.
Cover and cook about 10 hours on low or 4 1/2 to 5 hours on high. Don't peek or stir until near the end of cooking time.
Serve beef with hot cooked noodles or rice.
This can also be cooked in a covered 2-quart casserole for 2 to 2 1/2 hours in a 325F oven.
