Meatloaf (Egg Beaters) Recipe - Cooking Index
8 oz | 227g | Tomato sauce |
1 1/2 lbs | 681g / 24oz | Lean ground beef |
1 cup | 146g / 5.1oz | Fine dry bread crumbs |
1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Egg beaters |
1/3 cup | 20g / 0.7oz | Chopped onion |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Garlic powder |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Dried oregano leaves |
Reserve 1/4 cup tomato sauce.
In a bowl combine beef, bread crumbs, egg beaters, onion, garlic powder, oregano and remaining tomato sauce. Shape into a 4 x 9 inch loaf. Place on a baking sheet.
Bake at 375F for 30 minutes.
Spread remaining tomato sauce over the top.
Bake another 20 to 30 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165F.
