White Wine Pasta Sauce With Chicken Recipe - Cooking Index
| 1 1/2 cups | 355ml | Milk |
| 1/2 cup | 118ml | White wine |
| 8 tablespoons | 120ml | Flour - sifted |
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Butter |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Pepper |
| 1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Fennel seed |
| 1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Oregano |
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Onion - finely chopped |
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Celery - finely chopped |
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Mushrooms - finely chopped |
| 1 cup | 62g / 2.2oz | Boneless skinless chicken breasts - cut into 3/4" cubes |
Brown chicken.
Add all ingredients into a pot and simmer for 20 minutes.
This is great with Rotini or Rigotoni, but you favourite pasta will do.
I made this up in class one day, and haven't had the time to play with it since, so any suggestions, or ideas would be gladly accepted.
