Veal Scallopini Recipe - Cooking Index
2 lbs | 908g / 32oz | Veal cubes - shoulder/ shank |
3/4 cup | 46g / 1.6oz | Flour - mixed with |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt - and |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Pepper |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Oil |
1 | Sl. Mushrooms - drained | |
2 | Onions - thinly sliced (small) | |
1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Salt |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Sugar |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Whole oregano |
10 | Garlic - minced | |
30 | N can tomatoes |
Roll veal in seasoned flour and fry in oil until brown. Put in crockpot with the rest of the ingreds, stir.
Cook on high for 1 hr., then on low for 6-8 hrs.
Serve over rice or fettuccini.
