Grilled Italian Pork Burger Recipe - Cooking Index
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Lean ground pork |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Red wine |
1 | Garlic clove - crushed | |
1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Crushed fennel seed |
Salt and pepper - to taste | ||
Olive oil |
Italian seasonings make the all-American burger even better.
In a medium bowl, mix together the pork, red wine, garlic, fennel seed, salt and pepper. Pat gently into 4 patties. Brush each patty lightly with olive oil.
Place directly over hot coals on a kettle-style grill.
Close grill hood and grill for 5 minutes, turn and cook on second side for 4 minutes.
Serve with grilled Italian bread, if desired.
