Curried Pork Kabobs Recipe - Cooking Index
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Boneless pork loin - cut into 1/2-inch cu |
1 cup | 237ml | Plain low-fat yogurt |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Orange juice |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Ground coriander |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Turmeric |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Ground cumin |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Ground ginger |
4 | Barbecue skewers |
For marinade, in medium bowl stir together yogurt, orange juice and seasonings.
Blend well. Add pork cubes to bowl, stir to coat with marinade.
Cover and refrigerate 4-24 hours.
If using bamboo wood skewers, soak in water for 30 minutes.
Remove pork from marinade; with paper towels lightly pat dry.
Skewer pork evenly on skewers.
Grill over medium-hot coals, turning frequently, for about 10 minutes, until nicely browned.
