Souvlaki (Shish Kebab) Recipe - Cooking Index
3 lbs | 1362g / 48oz | Lamb sirloin - cut in 1" cubes |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Fresh lemon juice |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Salt |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Black pepper |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Garlic powder |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Oregano |
Place lamb cubes in a glass or ceramic bowl. Pour marinade over lam cubes. Marinate 30 minutes or so. Place 4 to 5 cubes of lamb on individual skewers, reserving marinade.
Grill over medium-high heat for 5 to 10 minutes, or until done, turning frequently. Baste with the reserved marinade.
