Fiesta Meatloaf Recipe - Cooking Index
1/2 cup | 31g / 1.1oz | Chopped onion |
1/2 cup | 55g / 1.9oz | Chopped celery |
1/4 cup | 36g / 1.3oz | Chopped green pepper |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Butter |
12 oz | 340g | Heinz chili sauce |
1 1/2 lbs | 681g / 24oz | Ground beef - lean |
1 cup | 146g / 5.1oz | Soft bread crumbs |
1 | Egg - slightly beaten | |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Pepper |
Saute onion, pepper, and celery, in butter, until tender. Stir in chili sauce. Combine 1/2 cup sauce mixture with all other ingredients. Form into a loaf in a shallow baking pan.
Bake at 350F for 1 hour.
Let stand for five minutes before slicing.
Serve remaining sauce over meatloaf.
