26 oz | 738g | Long-grain rice - uncooked |

1 tablespoon | 15ml | Tabasco brand Pepper Sauce |
In large saucepan, cook bacon until lightly browned. Remove, crumble and reserve. Reserve drippings.
Add onion to bacon drippings; cook until tender. Add peas and water, cover and simmer 15 minutes.
Add rice, salt and Tabasco brand Pepper Sauce. Simmer, covered, until beans and rice are tender, 10 to 15 minutes. Add reserved bacon.
This recipe yields 24 servings.
