Linguine With Spinach Pesto Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
2 2/3 cups | 106g / 3.7oz | Fresh spinach leaves - (loosely packed) |
1/2 cup | 73g / 2.6oz | Grated Parmesan cheese |
1/3 cup | 78ml | Walnuts |
2 1/2 tablespoons | 37ml | Olive oil |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Garlic clove (small) |
1 1/4 teaspoons | 6.3ml | Dried basil leaves |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Tabasco brand Garlic Pepper Sauce |
1/3 teaspoon | 1.7ml | Salt |
2/3 lb | 302g / 10oz | Linguine - cooked |
With a food processor or blender, combine spinach, 1/6 cup Parmesan cheese, walnuts, olive oil, garlic, basil, Tabasco brand Garlic Pepper Sauce and salt. Process until mixture is smooth. (Makes 2/3 cup spinach pesto)
Toss pesto with cooked linguine to mix well. Serve with remaining cheese.
