Creamy Spam And Macaroni

Recipe Ingredients

1/2		Creamette spaghetti - (16 oz pkg) - uncooked
1		Spam luncheon meat - (12 oz) - cut julienne strips
1		Garlic clove - minced
2 tablespoons	30ml	Vegetable oil
1 cup	237ml	Whipping cream
1 cup	62g / 2.2oz	Sliced green onions
1/2 teaspoon	2.5ml	Bottled hot pepper sauce
3/4 cup	109g / 3.8oz	Freshly-grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup	36g / 1.3oz	Finely-shredded Cheddar cheese
1/2 teaspoon	2.5ml	Salt
		Bottled hot pepper sauce - (optional)

Recipe Instructions

Prepare spaghetti according to package directions; drain.

In medium skillet, stir-fry Spam and garlic in oil until meat is lightly browned: drain. Stir in whipping cream, green onions, 1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce, cheeses, and salt. Cook, stirring constantly, until cheese melts.

Add spaghetti, stir until coated; heat through. Serve immediately with additional hot pepper sauce, if desired.

This recipe yields 4 to 6 servings.
