| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Freshly-ground black pepper |
| 1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Garlic powder |
| 2 cups | 292g / 10oz | Shredded cheddar cheese |
| 1 | Spam luncheon meat - (12 oz) - cubed | |
| 1 | Cream of chicken soup - (10 3/4 oz) | |
| 1 1/2 cups | 355ml | Sour cream |
| 1/2 cup | 118ml | Milk |
| 1/2 cup | 31g / 1.1oz | Chopped onion |
| 1/4 cup | 36g / 1.3oz | Diced green chilies - drained |
| 2 cups | 292g / 10oz | Crushed potato chips |
Heat oven to 350 degrees.
In a large bowl, combine potatoes, butter, salt, pepper and garlic powder. In another bowl, combine cheese, Spam, soup, sour cream, milk, onion and chilies. Add spam mixture to potato mixture; mix well.
Pour into a 2-quart baking dish. Sprinkle with potato chips. Bake 45 to 60 minutes or until heated through.
