Recipe Ingredients

1/2 cup 99g / 3.5ozVegetable shortening
1 cup 237mlBell pepper - seeded, and (large) sliced into rings
1   Onion - sliced (large)
1 can  Spam luncheon meat - (12 oz) - cut bite size
4 tablespoons 60mlApplesauce
  Salt - to taste
  Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste
1 teaspoon 5mlSugar
1 packet  Whole potatoes - (16 oz)
1   Oregano - or to taste

Recipe Instructions

Put the shortening in a large skillet, add the bell pepper rings and onion, cooking until the onion is transparent. Add the rest of the ingredients and cook, covered, over medium heat for 16 to 18 minutes. Serve warm.
