Montauk Baked Bluefish Recipe - Cooking Index
2 lbs | 908g / 32oz | Bluefish or other fish fillets - fresh or frozen |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Freshly-ground black pepper |
1/3 cup | 65g / 2.3oz | Melted margarine or butter |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Lemon juice |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Thyme |
Cut into serving-size portions. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Put fish in a well-greased 2-quart baking dish. Combine margarine, lemon juice, and thyme. Pour over fish.
Bake in a moderate oven, 350 degrees, for 10 to 15 minutes, checking for change in translucency or until fish flakes easily.
