Grilled Soft Shell Crabs Recipe - Cooking Index
12 | Soft-shell crabs - cleaned | |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Vegetable or olive oil |
1/2 cup | 73g / 2.6oz | Chopped fresh parsley |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Fresh lemon juice |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Nutmeg |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Soy sauce |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Tobasco sauce |
In a small bowl combine vegetable or olive oil, parsley, lemon juice, nutmeg, soy and Tobasco sauces.
Brush both sides of the soft-shell crabs with the sauce. Place on a moderately-hot grill about 4 inches from the heat source. Cook until lightly browned on one side, about 5 to 6 minutes. Turn and cook the other side.
Serve warm with lemon and parsley for garnish if desired.
This recipe yields 6 servings.
