Baked Scallops Recipe - Cooking Index
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Bay or calico scallops (or sea scallops cut in quarters) |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Dry white wine |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Fresh lemon juice |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Salt |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Freshly-ground white pepper |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Heavy cream |
1/2 cup | 73g / 2.6oz | Fresh bread crumbs - mixed with |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Melted margarine |
Mix wine, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in medium bowl. Stir in scallops. Add cream and stir. Place mixture in shallow baking dish. Sprinkle with bread crumb mixture.
Bake at 400 degrees until scallops are done, mixture is bubbly and crumbs are browned (approximately 15 minutes).
