Curry Halibut Stroganoff Recipe - Cooking Index
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Butter |
1/4 cup | 15g / 0.5oz | Chopped onion |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Curry powder |
8 oz | 227g | Halibut - cooked and flaked |
1 | Cream of chicken soup | |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Plain yogurt |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Milk |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Lemon juice |
Hot cooked rice or noodles - for serving |
Saute chopped onion and curry powder in butter. Stir in can of chicken soup, yogurt, milk, lemon juice and halibut. Serve over rice or noodles. Garnish with tomato slices and parsley, or chopped unsalted peanuts, currants and chutney.
This recipe yields 4 to 6 servings (depending on serving portions).
