Baked Fish With Mushrooms And Smoked Almonds

Recipe Ingredients

2 lbs 908g / 32ozFish fillets - cut serving size
1 tablespoon 15mlLemon juice
1 teaspoon 5mlSalt
1/4 teaspoon 1.3mlLemon pepper
3 tablespoons 45mlButter or margarine
1 1/2 cups 355mlSliced mushrooms
1/2 cup 46g / 1.6ozHickory-smoke flavored almonds
2 tablespoons 30mlChopped parsley
  Parsley sprigs - for garnish
  Lemon wedges - for garnish

Recipe Instructions

Place fillets in a single layer in a well-oiled baking dish. Sprinkle with lemon juice, salt, and lemon pepper. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes per inch of thickness or until fish flakes easily and is no longer translucent in the center.

Meanwhile, combine remaining ingredients in a saucepan and saute over low heat for 5 to 7 minutes.

To serve, spoon mushroom mixture over fish. Garnish with parsley sprigs and lemon wedges.
