1 cup | 237ml | Chinese pea pods |
1 cup | 237ml | Sliced brown mushrooms |
2 cups | 474ml | Alaska surimi seafood |
1/2 cup | 31g / 1.1oz | Green onions - sliced |
Salt - to taste | ||
Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste | ||
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Sesame seeds - toasted |
Hot cooked rice |
Place oil in skillet or wok, heat until very hot. Add garlic, stir-fry for 30 seconds. Add red and yellow pepper strips, pea pods and mushrooms. Stir-fry for 1 minute, and then add 2 tablespoons water, cover, and cook 2 minutes longer, stirring frequently until vegetables are tender-crisp.
Add surimi and green onions. Stir-fry 1 minute longer. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve on hot cooked rice.
This recipe yields 4 servings.
