Vegetable And Alaska Surimi Seafood Stir-Fry

Recipe Ingredients

2 tablespoons 30mlVegetable oil
1   Garlic clove - minced
1/2   Red bell pepper - seeded, and
  Sliced into 1/4" strips
1/2   Yellow bell pepper - seeded, and
  Sliced into 1/4" strips
1 cup 237mlChinese pea pods
1 cup 237mlSliced brown mushrooms
2 cups 474mlAlaska surimi seafood
1/2 cup 31g / 1.1ozGreen onions - sliced
  Salt - to taste
  Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste
2 tablespoons 30mlSesame seeds - toasted
  Hot cooked rice

Recipe Instructions

Place oil in skillet or wok, heat until very hot. Add garlic, stir-fry for 30 seconds. Add red and yellow pepper strips, pea pods and mushrooms. Stir-fry for 1 minute, and then add 2 tablespoons water, cover, and cook 2 minutes longer, stirring frequently until vegetables are tender-crisp.

Add surimi and green onions. Stir-fry 1 minute longer. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve on hot cooked rice.

This recipe yields 4 servings.
