Alaska Snow Crab and Chicken Teriyaki Recipe - Cooking Index
4 | Boneless skinless chicken breast halves | |
4 | Snow crab clusters - thawed if necessary | |
Teriyaki Marinade | ||
3/4 cup | 177ml | Peanut oil |
6 tablespoons | 90ml | Soy sauce |
6 tablespoons | 90ml | Sherry |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Brown sugar |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Grated ginger |
2 | Grated orange zest | |
1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Minced garlic |
For Teriyaki Marinade: Whisk together all ingredients; set aside.
Place chicken in glass pan. Cover with 3/4 cup Teriyaki Marinade. Set aside 1/2 cup Teriyaki Marinade for dipping sauce. This should not touch raw chicken. Cover chicken with plastic and refrigerate 4 to 8 hours.
Place chicken on broiling pan and broil 5 to 6 inches from heat for 15 to 20 minutes. Turn chicken while broiling and brush with another 1/4 cup Teriyaki Marinade.
Meanwhile, brush snow crab with oil and broil 5 to 6 inches from heat for 5 minutes. Serve chicken and crab with reserved 1/2 cup Teriyaki Marinade for dipping.
