Rigatoni A La Vodka Recipe - Cooking Index
1/2 cup | 118ml | Heavy cream |
1 | Bouillon | |
1 1/2 cups | 355ml | Plain tomato sauce |
Salt and pepper to taste | ||
1/4 cup | 49g / 1.7oz | Butter |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Rigatoni |
1/4 lb | 113g / 4oz | Bacon diced |
Grated cheese - (parmagiana) | ||
1/3 cup | 78ml | Vodka |
Lightly sauteebacon. Drain except for 2 tbls drippings. Add butter and simmer on low heat for 3 minutes Add vodka and tomato sauce and simmer 5 minutes
Add cream. salt and pepper and keep warm(never cook with cream on high heat-it will separate) Cook macaroni according to directions. Drain well, mix with sauce, top with cheese and serve.
