2 | Chickens - (2 1/2 lbs ea) | |
1 | Onion - squeezed through (large) | |
A garlic press | ||
3 | Limes | |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Olive oil |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Sumac |
3 | Garlic cloves - finely chopped | |
Salt - to taste | ||
Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste |
Mix the above ingredients together. Pour marinade over chicken, coat cover and refrigerate overnight.
Grill the chicken halves, turning frequently and brushing with the marinade, until done. Remove to a platter.
