Ron's Grilled Peanut Butter Ham

Recipe Ingredients

1 cup 237mlChicken broth
1/2 cup 99g / 3.5ozPeanut butter
1/4 cup 59mlHoney
1 cup 62g / 2.2ozOnion - grated (small)
1   Garlic clove - chopped
2 teaspoons 10mlSoy sauce
1 teaspoon 5mlGravy base
  = (Kitchen Bouquet recommended)
1/4 teaspoon 1.3mlFreshly-ground black pepper
2   Center-cut 1 1/2"-thick ham slices

Recipe Instructions

In a blender, combine the broth, peanut butter, honey, onion, garlic, soy sauce, gravy base and pepper. Put the ham in a shallow glass dish, pour the marinade over it, and marinate for 3 to 4 hours in the refrigerator.

Prepare a charcoal fire. Remove ham from marinade and cook approximately 15 minutes per side over glowing coals. Carve into 1-inch thick slices.

This recipe yields 8 to 10 servings.
