Tangy Marinated Shrimp With Parsley Or Chives Recipe - Cooking Index
4 tablespoons | 60ml | Olive oil |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | White vinegar |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | House Seasoning - (see recipe) |
2/3 cup | 157ml | Mayonnaise |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Anchovy paste |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Creole or brown mustard |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Large cooked shrimp - peeled, and |

1 | Red bell pepper - sliced thin strips | |
4 | Green onions - chopped | |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Chopped fresh parsley or chives |
1 | Lemon - juiced |
Using a large bowl, beat the oil, vinegar, and house seasonings together. Add the mayonnaise, anchovy paste, and mustard, and stir until well blended.
Fold in the shrimp, bell pepper, onion, parsley, and lemon juice. Place in refrigerator and marinate overnight.
Serve cold or at room temperature.
This recipe yields 6 servings.
