Mushroom Casserole

Recipe Ingredients

3 lbs 1362g / 48ozPorcini mushrooms - sliced
1 lb 454g / 16ozLeeks - sliced
  Salt - to taste
  Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste
1 tablespoon 15mlChopped flat-leaf parsley
8 oz 227gButter
8 oz 227gHeavy cream
8 oz 227gBread crumbs

Recipe Instructions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

In a casserole, place 1 layer of mushrooms and leeks. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and parsley. Cover with 2 ounces of butter and cream. Repeat process three more times and cover with bread crumbs.

Bake until mushrooms are tender and crust is golden brown, about 20 minutes.

This recipe yields 4 to 6 servings.
