Seared Macadamia Crusted Tuna Recipe - Cooking Index
| 2 lbs | 908g / 32oz | Sushi-grade tuna |
| Salt - to taste | ||
| Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste | ||
| 1 | Egg white - beaten | |
| 1 1/2 cups | 219g / 7.7oz | Macadamia nuts - chopped |
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Canola oil - (to 2) |
Cut tuna into 6 blocks. Salt and pepper all sides of the fish. Roll in the egg white and then into the nuts. Sear in a lightly oiled cast-iron pan to desired doneness.
This recipe yields 6 servings.
