Marinara Basil With Sweet Sausages Recipe - Cooking Index
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Olive oil |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Italian sweet sausages - sliced |
1/4 | Onion - chopped | |
2 | Garlic cloves - chopped | |
1 | Crushed tomatoes - (28 oz) | |
1 | Pureed tomatoes - (28 oz) | |
1 | Parsley - chopped | |
1/2 cup | 20g / 0.7oz | Fresh basil - leaves torn by hand |
Salt - to taste | ||
Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste | ||
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Bucatoni - cooked al dente |
Heat oil in a large hot saucepan and brown sausages. Add onions and garlic and saute until fragrant. Add remaining ingredients and simmer 30 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve over bucatoni.
