2 tablespoons | 30ml | Chopped onion |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Pea or pinto beans |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Olive oil |
3 cups | 711ml | Beef broth |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Chopped carrots |

3 tablespoons | 45ml | Chopped celery |
6 oz | 170g | Small tubular macaroni |
2 oz | 56g | Pork chops or substitu (small) |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Parmesan cheese |
Sauteeonions; add celery, carrots, and pork. Add tomatoes and cook for 20minutes.
Add precooked beans and cook for 5 minutes, then add broth and bring to a boil. To thicken, scoop out 1/2 of the beans and put in a food processor. Adjust liquid and macaroni. Cook until ready and add cheese at last minute.
