Party Pizza Recipe - Cooking Index
Supermarkets sell a variety of ready-to-use pizza shells. Buy a thin-crust version -- the results are crisper. To start the meal, create an antipasto from prepared ingredients.

1 cup | 237ml | Marinara sauce - (about) |
1 1/2 cups | 219g / 7.7oz | Grated mozzarella cheese |
1 | Ripe tomato - thinly sliced | |
6 | Imported black olives - (to 8) | |
6 | Fresh basil leaves | |
Extra-virgin olive oil - as needed | ||
Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste |
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Place the crust on a baking sheet. Spread the sauce on the crust to within 1/2 inch of the rim. Sprinkle with the cheese. Arrange the tomato slices, olives and basil over the cheese. Drizzle lightly with olive oil; season with pepper. Bake 8 to 10 minutes, or until the crust is crisp and cheese is melted.
This recipe yields 4 servings.
