Tuna And Watercress With Wasabi Mayonnaise Recipe - Cooking Index
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Sesame oil |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Canola oil |
1 | Tuna steak - (8 to 10 oz) | |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Mayonnaise |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Wasabi powder |

1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Soy sauce |
4 | Atkins bread - lightly toasted | |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Watercress - rinsed, dried, |
And stems removed | ||
1/4 | Red onion - sliced very thin |
Heat sesame and canola oils in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear tuna 2 minutes per side. Transfer to a cutting board and slice thinly on the diagonal.
Mix mayonnaise, wasabi powder and soy sauce. Spread on bread slices. Layer watercress, red onion, and tuna slices on two slices of bread. Top with remaining bread slices.
