Tuna And Watercress With Wasabi Mayonnaise

Recipe Ingredients

1 teaspoon 5mlSesame oil
1 teaspoon 5mlCanola oil
1   Tuna steak - (8 to 10 oz)
1 tablespoon 15mlMayonnaise
1 teaspoon 5mlWasabi powder
  = (or white horseradish)
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlSoy sauce
4   Atkins bread - lightly toasted
1/2 cup 118mlWatercress - rinsed, dried,
  And stems removed
1/4   Red onion - sliced very thin

Recipe Instructions

Heat sesame and canola oils in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear tuna 2 minutes per side. Transfer to a cutting board and slice thinly on the diagonal.

Mix mayonnaise, wasabi powder and soy sauce. Spread on bread slices. Layer watercress, red onion, and tuna slices on two slices of bread. Top with remaining bread slices.

This recipe yields 4 servings.
