Steak With Herb-Spice Rub Recipe - Cooking Index
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Chili powder |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Oregano |
1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Ground cumin |
1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Dry mustard |
1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Salt |
1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Freshly-ground black pepper |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Cayenne pepper |
2 | Garlic cloves - pushed through press | |
4 | Bone-in rib eye steaks - (10 oz ea) |
Prepare a medium grill or heat broiler. Mix first 8 ingredients in a small bowl. Rub mixture on both sides of steaks
Brush grill with oil. Grill steaks 4 to 5 minutes per side for medium doneness.
