Fish Bowl Recipe - Cooking Index
1/2 lb | 227g / 8oz | Fresh salmon |
Juice of 1/2 lemon | ||
5 tablespoons | 75ml | Soy sauce |
5 tablespoons | 75ml | Water |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Frozen stir-fry vegetables |
Leftover rice - warmed |
Place salmon rather snugly in a microwave-safe dish. Over the fish, squeeze the lemon juice and add soy sauce and water.
Cover the dish with plastic wrap and microwave on high about 3 1/2 minutes. Time the cooking so the fish is slightly undercooked -- a little darker in the middle than on the top.
Set fish aside while you microwave stir-fry vegetables according to package directions. Add the cooked fish, the sauce and the vegetables to a bowl of leftover heated rice.
This recipe yields 2 servings.
