1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Butter or margarine - (1 stick) |
1 | Drained diced green chiles - (7 oz) | |
1/2 lb | 227g / 8oz | Cheddar cheese - shredded |
1/2 lb | 227g / 8oz | Jack cheese - shredded |
3 | Eggs | |
2 cups | 474ml | Milk |
3/4 teaspoon | 3.8ml | Salt |
1 cup | 110g / 3.9oz | Biscuit mix |
Melt butter in 13- by 9-inch baking dish. Arrange chiles in layer in bottom of pan. Cover with Cheddar and Jack cheeses.
Blend eggs, milk, salt and biscuit mix in mixing bowl. Pour over cheese in baking dish.
Bake at 350 degrees until golden, 35 to 40 minutes. Let cool slightly and cut into squares. Serve warm.
