Pheasant In Spiced Sour Cream Recipe - Cooking Index

| Flour - for dusting | ||
| Butter - as needed | ||
| 8 oz | 227g | Sour cream |
| 2 cups | 474ml | Water |
| 2 teaspoons | 10ml | Worcestershire sauce |
| A few drops Tabasco sauce | ||
| 2 | Bay leaves | |
| 1 | Sweet basil | |
| 1 | Rosemary | |
| Salt - to taste | ||
| Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste |
Dust pieces of pheasant with flour and brown in butter.
Mix sour cream and water. Add remaining ingredients to sour cream mixture.
Pour sour cream mixture in a covered roaster and add pheasant. Bake at 325 degrees for several hours or until tender.
