Barbequed Salmon

Recipe Ingredients

1 lb 454g / 16ozSalmon fillet - (to 2)
1   Liquid smoke
1/2 cup 118mlKetchup
1/4 cup 59mlLemon juice
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlDry mustard
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlSalt
1 teaspoon 5mlMinced onion (small)
1/4 cup 59mlWater
1/8 cup 29mlMolasses
1/4 cup 49g / 1.7ozButter
1 tablespoon 15mlSoy sauce

Recipe Instructions

Combine all ingredients, except salmon and liquid smoke, in saucepan and simmer for 10 minutes. Let cool.

Rub salmon with liquid smoke and let sit until marinate is cool. Marinate salmon in cooled sauce for 2 hours.

Preheat grill. Place salmon on grill skin-side down and baste often. Grill for 10 minutes. Brush final coating of marinate on salmon and serve.
