Brown Sugar Meat Loaf Recipe - Cooking Index
For the movie, this meat loaf was prepared using ground turkey instead of beef because the actors preferred white meat.

2 teaspoons | 10ml | Eggs - lightly beaten (large) |
3/4 cup | 177ml | Milk |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Commercial barbecue sauce |
Vegetable cooking spray | ||
1/4 cup | 59ml | Ketchup |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Brown sugar |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Dry mustard |
Combine ground round, stuffing mix, onion, salt, and pepper. Beat eggs, milk, and barbecue sauce; add to meat mixture, mixing well. Press mixture into a 9- by 5- by 3-inch loaf pan sprayed with cooking spray.
Combine ketchup, brown sugar and mustard; spread over top of meat loaf. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 30 minutes or until thermometer inserted in center of loaf registers 160 degrees. Remove from loaf pan immediately.
