Spaghetti With Pesto Sauce

3 cups 711mlFresh basil - stems removed
3   Garlic cloves - chopped
1/4 cup 59mlOlive oil
3/4 cup 177mlPine nuts - toasted
1/4 cup 36g / 1.3ozGrated Parmesan cheese
  Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste
1 lb 454g / 16ozCooked spaghetti - hot

Recipe Instructions

Wash and dry basil. Place basil in a blender or food processor with garlic, olive oil, pine nuts, cheese, and pepper; puree.

Transfer cooked spaghetti to a serving bowl. Add pesto and toss thoroughly to serve.

This recipe yields 8 servings. Serving size: 1 cup pasta plus sauce.
