Spaghetti With Pesto Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index

3/4 cup | 177ml | Pine nuts - toasted |
1/4 cup | 36g / 1.3oz | Grated Parmesan cheese |
Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste | ||
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Cooked spaghetti - hot |
Wash and dry basil. Place basil in a blender or food processor with garlic, olive oil, pine nuts, cheese, and pepper; puree.
Transfer cooked spaghetti to a serving bowl. Add pesto and toss thoroughly to serve.
This recipe yields 8 servings. Serving size: 1 cup pasta plus sauce.
