Sweet 'n' Spicy Shrimp Recipe - Cooking Index
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Honey |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Yellow mustard |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Dried minced onion |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Ground ginger |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Butter |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Large shrimp - (24 to 30 count) - peeled, deveined |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Fresh chopped parsley |
In a small bowl, combine the honey, mustard, minced onion, and ginger; mix well and set aside.
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat and saute the shrimp for 1 to 2 minutes. Add the honey-mustard mixture to the shrimp, stirring until the shrimp are pink and the sauce is heated through.
Sprinkle with the chopped parsley and serve immediately.
This recipe yields 6 servings. Serving size: 4 to 5 shrimp.
